FLEET MAINTENANCE MECHANIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid driver’s license required with a clean driving record.
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of automotive or diesel repair employment experience or combination of education & experience.
  • Good fabrication and problem solving skills.
  • excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Must have appropriate mechanic’s tool set.
  • Must participate in company ASE certification program (company training, testing, and bonuses provided!)
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs to ensure vehicles are safe for our customers.
  • Diagnose and perform accurately all phases of vehicle and equipment repair including the repair of brakes, HVAC systems, engine tune-ups, suspensions, drive trains, transmission, electrical systems, drivability and other repairs.
  • Assist with road calls and emergency service repairs.
  • Ensure work orders are completed properly and accurately. Maintain records of all maintenance work completed including parts and supplies used.
  • Complete preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
