What we offer
The Automotive industry is undergoing a massive change with multiple Asian Automotive companies entering the EMEA markets. Covestro is a major supplier to the Automotive industry and targets to position their offering at the entering companies as prime cooperation partner.
In this position you will be the core contact for developing the accounts in the EMEA region. You will be responsible for the current and future business for EP Mobility with international transplants from Asia (OEM, Tier and technology partner).
You will manage and develop the Mobility business with the relevant accounts. In addition, you will be responsible for market development also with a focus on strategic topics. In this position, you will work closely with the sales team in Mobility EMEA and maintain direct contact with stakeholder in Asia (Covestro, accounts and partner).

In addition to our wide range of benefits, you can expect an attractive starting salary of between €102,000/year and €124,000/year plus a variable component for a full-time position. The starting salary depends on your qualifications and professional experience.

  • In your new position, you will identify and activate new and additional business opportunities with existing and new customers in order to develop a sustainable project pipeline. In addition, you will establish and maintain a close business relationship with selected key customers in your area of responsibility, also with access to decision makers
  • You will gather market knowledge and contribute to the success of Mobility EMEA as a representative to Asian transplants to develop a holistic picture of the EMEA region
  • Furthermore, you will be the primary person for internal and external contacts for the Transplant business for commercial projects, developments and initiatives
  • Pro-active product- and technology presentation at value-chain player (OEM, Tier1, Tier2) to achieve product listing and nomination for new serial automotive production are also part of your responsibilities. This includes also the cooperation with Asian Technology partner
  • In collaboration with the Head (m/f/d) of OEM & MD MOB EMEA and your colleagues in MOB EMEA you will develop and implement segment specific strategies

What you offer

  • You hold an university degree / Master in engineering (m/f/d) in plastics technology, vehicle construction, or equivalent and have several years experience in the above-mentioned fields
  • Your profile shows broad experience in technical / commercial sales and application technology, especially with Asian customer profiles in the automotive industry (OEM, Tier)
  • A professional and confident appearance in customer contact as well as assertiveness are among your competencies
  • You bring a combination of strong analytical skills combined with strong communication and presentation skills of mainly technical content
  • As a team player and open-minded individual, you enjoy working with people from different cultures and backgrounds
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and German is a prerequisite, knowledge of Chinese, Japanese and/ or Korean is an special advantage
