JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Audio Visual Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audio and visual technology, with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain various AV systems. This role involves working with low voltage equipment, understanding schematics, and utilizing mechanical knowledge to ensure seamless operation of audio-visual setups for events and installations.

SKILLS

  • Proficient in telecommunication technologies and systems.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge related to audio-visual equipment.
  • Familiarity with low voltage electrical systems and components.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics for installation and troubleshooting purposes.
  • Experience in software troubleshooting for AV applications.
  • Competent in handling computer hardware associated with audio-visual setups.
  • Knowledge of electrical principles as they relate to AV technology.

  • Install, configure, and maintain audio-visual equipment for various events and venues.
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware issues related to AV systems.
  • Operate and monitor AV equipment during live events to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with event coordinators to understand technical requirements and provide solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, maintenance schedules, and service reports.
  • Utilize hand tools for installation and repairs of AV systems.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding technical needs and solutions.
