POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team. You will receive on-the-job training and guidance from experienced team members as you assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of AV equipment at live events. You will also help with warehouse tasks, including equipment preparation, inventory management, and ensuring everything is ready for events.
Flexibility is key in this role, as working hours can vary, with events typically taking place in the evenings, on weekends, and sometimes on public holidays. No prior experience is required, but a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to work as part of a team are essential.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- No previous experience required—training will be provided.
- A keen interest in audio-visual technology and live events.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with clients and team members.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to varying schedules.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving equipment in a warehouse setting.
- A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a proactive approach to tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of audio-visual equipment for live events, under the supervision of senior technicians.
- Help prepare and organize AV equipment for events, including checking that everything is in working order.
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment from the warehouse to event locations.
- Support senior technicians in troubleshooting and resolving any equipment issues during events.
- Assist with the safe and efficient storage and handling of AV equipment in the warehouse.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines when handling equipment and setting up for events.
- Be flexible and available to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
- Take part in training opportunities to develop technical skills and knowledge in the audio-visual field.
