Description:

JOB SUMMARY

As a member of the quality & safety team, you will be responsible for promoting and enforcing a culture of quality across EirTrade’s business. You will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with all quality regulatory requirements, implementing effective policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and providing guidance to project teams.
The team work with all quality & safety regulations. The team member should have experience within the Aviation Industry and would suit an individual with experience in a quality role or a mechanic who has an interest in pivoting their career to quality & safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor work processes and procedures to ensure there are no breaches in compliance with approved procedures and regulations.
  • Be familiar with aircraft and engine components – possessing and ability to be able to identify parts and processes.
  • Develop and manage an internal and external audit schedule for designated group entities.
  • Assist with conducting internal audits to ensure quality standards are always adhered to.
  • Assist Quality & Safety Manager in keeping all policies and procedures documented and up to date.
  • Collaborate with organizational and departmental leadership to facilitate the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Quality Assurance (QA) / Quality Control (QC) programs.
  • Provide guidance on resource allocation necessary to effectively execute quality tasks within respective departments.
  • Assist with carrying out investigations to identify the root cause of audit findings, errors & occurrences.
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of Quality Management System (QMS) data to assess effectiveness and identify opportunities for continual improvement.
  • Manage the Maintenance Operations Report (MOR) and Safety Management System (SMS) reporting systems, ensuring thorough safety assurance and promotion.
  • Maintain proficiency in and stay updated on regulatory standards such as EASA Part 145, as well as company compliance manuals.
  • Lead across file management and integration with IT systems.
  • Carry out supplier surveys and analyse performance.
  • Completion of customer audits.
  • Ensure all systems/processes and methods are documented.
  • Proactively monitor changing legislation to ensure that policies are updated to reflect changes in advance of them becoming live.
  • Assist with vendor approvals.
  • Prepare and present to company management periodic quality reports.Collaborate with external regulators & accreditation organisations as necessary.
  • Review company operational processes to ensure they are in line with external regulation.
