Description:

Wilson Security presents a unique opportunity to join our national aviation network by applying for the role of Aviation Security Screener based at Whitsundays Airport.

We are currently seeking individuals who are interested in a specialist security career, who are self-motivated and passionate about all things Customer. You must have excellent communication and customer service skills complimented by a high level of security awareness which will be underpinned by the training we will invest in you as part of your Wilson Aviation journey.

Your role and responsibility include:

  • Undertaking security screening activities of passengers and baggage which includes conducting physical searches and identifying prohibited items
  • Ensuring compliance with security procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Providing a safe and exceptional customer driven experiences for passengers and visitors.
  • Communicating professionally and promptly in all customer interactions

To submit a successful application, candidates must have:

  • Previous experience in an aviation, customer service or security role
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • The ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment
  • The ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
  • The ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening test
  • Full unlimited right to work in Australia

We will provide:

  • Certificate 2 in Transport Security Protection
  • Certificate 2 in Security Operations
  • Aviation Security Identification Card cost

  • Roster across a 7 day period
