Job Description

CHECK IN YOUR PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:

  • Degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, communications engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in aerospace development
  • Detailed knowledge and practical expertise of ARP4754A and DO-160
  • Knowledge of the certification deliverables for the Type Certificate programs in CS-25/23/29/27 programs
  • Proven track of requirements engineering with requirement management tools like Integrity or DOORS
  • Experience in working with suppliers for the “build to specification” development and COTS integration for aircraft systems
  • Thorough analytical skills, troubleshooting experience and a structured approach
  • Excellent written and spoken English

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with software and airborne electronic hardware standards DO-178 and DO-254
  • Experience in working in EASA approved Design Organization (Part21J) is preferable
    Additional Information

Responsibilities:

  • Performing Requirement Management of system/subsystem/equipment level requirements in the Avionics domain
  • Performing the requirements validation and support of the requirements verification activities
  • Addressing the problem reports and managing change requests for the allocated system
  • Preparing and performing the system and component design reviews (PDR, CDR etc.), internally and with suppliers
  • Supporting the development assurance activities (e.g. system audits with authorities for ARP 4754A compliance demonstration)
  • Supporting the generation of the compliance evidence for the certification (test plans, design reviews, analysis reports etc.)
  • Facilitating the integration activities of the newly developed and COTS equipment (e.g. review of the test procedures, environmental qualification gap analysis and others)
  • Working closely with specialists in a multidisciplinary team
  • Participating in communication with the certification authority
