avIP Technician

Creative Technology have an exciting opportunity for an avIP Technician to join the team! Based in the Integrated Networks department, the avIP Tech will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and preparation of the signal distribution and SMPTE-2110 equipment in Integrated networks. Combined and resilient signal transport of video, audio, intercom and data is a rapidly progressing area of the live events industry and provides exciting opportunities for successful candidates. You will be required to assist in the building and configuration of avIP equipment and systems as required by our projects, delivering to the robust standards expected by Creative Technology and our clients.
The ability to work as part of the wider prep team and prioritise tasks are paramount to the role of the avIP Technician.
The role is based in Crawley with the warehouse hours being 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday. Out of hours working may occasionally be required during busy periods.
As you become more experienced with the equipment opportunities for on-site installation and operation of the systems you prep and test could be available to you.
Previous experience of live events, intercom systems or IP networking is advantageous but not required as training will be provided
