REQUIREMENTS

Education:

• Associate’s degree/Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 4 of those years being in leadership/management.

Develop and implement Ministry Market state and local advocacy strategy to increase the visibility and influence of Ascension for advancing legislative and regulatory priorities.

• Collaborate with Ministry Market leadership to provide advocacy input on business strategies to support achievement of business goals and serve the organization’s mission.
• Track and monitor relevant state and local health policy and regulatory issues, and maintain currency with relevant federal policy and regulatory issues. Analyze state and local legislation and provide recommendations for Ministry Market positions on legislation.
• Create and manage critical external relationships to help leverage public policy and enhance the organization’s mission both locally and nationally.
• Serve as chief representative of the Ministry Market at state and local events.
• Organize Ministry Market associates to advocate for legislative and regulatory priorities as appropriate to achieve advocacy priorities.
