  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of and background working with nonprofit organizations and higher education institutions.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects, and priorities effectively and professionally.

  • Ability to represent ETS to the public.
  • Ability to plan, initiative action, establish and meet deadlines, and complete projects with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to investigate and resolve problems and provide advice and guidance on projects and issues.
  • Ability to project budget requirements, monitor expenses, and analyze data.
  • Ability to develop ideas and perform project and assignment analysis.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree highly preferred.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience which includes marketing, public relations, research, and project management, with an extensive network of relationships with external stakeholders, decision makers and thought leaders throughout the target communities.
  • At least 5 years of management experience in a leadership role required.
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with issues related to disadvantaged groups are essential to be effective in this role.
  • Knowledge of best practices and changing trends in corporate giving and philanthropy is necessary.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a staff of professionals, teams and coalitions is required. Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact and build relationships with senior management and external community leaders.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Drive and execute the global philanthropic strategy in alignment with ETS’s mission and values and that help achieve social impact goals.
  • Identify and direct philanthropic initiatives to help bring educational and talent solutions and long-term results for disadvantaged groups.
  • Develop and execute strategies for fostering and promoting effective community relations, partnering with key internal stakeholders across all lines of business.
  • Identify and build alliances and coalitions with key external stakeholders and constituents to further ETS platform, build brand recognition, and enhance corporate reputation.
  • Maintain and build upon positive, strategic relationships with education leaders, community leaders, nonprofit organizations, foundations, and corporate partners.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans and message platforms that will enhance and broaden awareness of ETS’s commitment to education, talent and corporate social responsibility.
  • Oversee ETS’s philanthropic programs to ensure maximum impact to communities across the globe and maximum benefit to ETS.
  • Serve as spokesperson and ambassador for ETS and its philanthropic, and community relations activities.
  • Manage and mentor staff.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in order to design and execute philanthropic programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Develop and manage global philanthropic budget.
  • Adhere to ethical standards and comply with the laws and regulations applicable to the job function.
