THE OPPORTUNITY (ONSITE - TORONTO, ON)
Carbon6 has grown revenue sixfold in just two short years, and now we’re looking for an inspiring sales leader to take our North American strategy to new heights. As the AVP of North America Sales, you’ll be the driving force behind our sales engine—defining strategy, capturing market opportunities, and building lasting client partnerships. This role will give you the opportunity to shape our approach to new customer acquisition, lead high-impact enterprise negotiations, and build a collaborative, high-performing sales team that thrives on accountability, resilience, and innovation.
In this role, you’ll champion Carbon6’s expansion by cultivating relationships across Marketing, Product, Operations, and Finance to create an agile and cohesive go-to-market strategy. Your success will be defined by your ability to lead with an ownership mindset, foster a culture of courage and candor, and ensure that Carbon6 remains a vital partner for e-commerce sellers across North America. If you’re excited about creating a powerful legacy in a fast-growing tech company and leading with purpose and integrity, we’d be thrilled to explore this opportunity with you.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven Experience: 10+ years in B2B SaaS sales, with a proven track record in North American sales leadership, ideally in e-commerce or tech. You have exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of inspiring and managing high-performing sales teams through ever changing environments, and high impact revenue targets.
- Leadership Skills: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing revenue team and leaders. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that is cross-functionally aligned with GTM, product, finance, and operations teams. You are able to make informed, timely decisions and drive business goals and objectives to its completion. You are comfortable making the call to move things along quickly with less information than ideal. You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves to get the job done and have a track record of exercising initiative and resilience in challenging situations.
- Change Management: Expertly guide your team through transitions and transformations, such as strategic pivots or shifts in priorities, while maintaining focus and morale. Develop and implement strategies to navigate change effectively, ensuring that all team members are aligned with the new direction and understand their role in achieving the updated goals. Address concerns and manage expectations with transparency and empathy, fostering a culture of resilience and adaptability. Your ability to steer through periods of change not only supports team cohesion but also drives organizational success.
- Communication Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with a candid and courageous approach to problem-solving and customer interaction. You possess exemplary communication skills, with the ability to articulate project objectives, expectations, and status updates to all stakeholders. You are equally eloquent and comfortable communicating in writing, in person, and when speaking to large groups. You can always lead a discussion to an outcome, no matter how many people and different opinions are in the room.
- Stakeholder Management: You excel at building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring everyone is kept informed and engaged. You can work with anyone and you can quickly and effectively assess what is important to any given stakeholder, and how to influence across reporting lines to ensure everyone is working in parallel to achieve the outcomes needed for the business.
