Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Join our dynamic Capital Voyagers team as an AWS/Python Developer and play a crucial role in driving our Financial Management Transformation Initiative.
- In this position you’ll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to impactful projects that shape the future of our financial systems.
- As an AWS/Python Developer you will:
- Design and modernize applications supporting the Financial Management Transformation initiative
- Implement cloud-based solutions using AWS services with a focus on data processing and analysis
- Develop and maintain Python applications for data manipulation Collaborate with business partners to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure software responsiveness efficiency and accuracy
- Troubleshoot debug and optimize existing software systems
- Implement robust security measures and data protection protocols
- Produce comprehensive technical documentation
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and execution
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 4-5 years of professional software development experience
- Strong Python development expertise (3+ years)
- Proficiency in AWS technologies (Postgres Redshift S3 Glue etc.) with 2+ years of hands-on experience
- Experience with databases (Oracle SQL etc.)
- Experience working in an agile environment (preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies
