As a Cloud-Native Software Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cutting-edge cloud solutions for our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architectural strategies, drive technology adoption, and ensure the successful delivery of cloud-native applications. This position requires strong communication and collaboration skills in English , as well as proficiency in either Dutch or French to effectively engage with our diverse clientele and team members.
Responsibilities:
- Cloud-Native Architecture Design: Define and champion cloud-native architectural patterns, ensuring solutions are highly scalable, resilient, and optimised for AWS environments.
- Technical Design: Create detailed technical designs for cloud-native applications, incorporating modern architectural patterns like microservices, serverless computing, and containerization.
- Technology Evaluation: Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and assess their potential for enhancing client solutions.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor and guide software engineering teams in adopting cloud-native best practices, technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, serverless), and DevOps methodologies.
- Hands-On Implementation: Actively contribute to the design and development of proof-of-concepts, prototypes, and production-ready code.
- Performance Optimization: Analyse and optimise cloud-native applications for cost-efficiency, performance, and security.
- Collaboration: Partner with clients, project managers, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and drive successful project delivery.
- Proven Experience: Extensive experience in software development and architecture, with a strong focus on cloud-native technologies and principles.
- Architectural Patterns: Deep understanding of cloud-native architectural patterns, including microservices, event-driven architectures, and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
- DevOps Familiarity: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and configuration management tools.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Node) and familiarity with cloud-specific development frameworks.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
