• Experience with marketing technologies, including real-time customer data platforms (Adobe, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and web & mobile applications.
• Experience with front-end engineering (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Frontend frameworks (Angular, React, Node.js), Design Fundamental & Libraries, Responsive & Mobile Design, Cross-browser & device testing, Search Engine Optimisation, Analytics & Tag Management)
• Experience with back end engineering (Java, Spring / Spring Boot, Python, Back-End Frameworks (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with state management using Redux or NgRx.
• Experience with monorepo tools for multiple project/websites development using NX.dev
• Designing, implementing, and deploying on cloud (knowledge of cloud/AWS development/engineering best practices is highly desired)
• Experience with API management platforms, design standards, patterns and best practices (knowledge of KONG is highly desired)
• Experience in designing and building scalable and highly available client facing solutions and its associated technologies, including micro-services, real time data streaming and event driven architecture.
• Familiarity with DevOps concepts, tools and continuous delivery pipelines – Bamboo, GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, Bitbucket, Jira, etc.
• Experience with Site Reliability Engineering principles, resiliency design patterns and relevant tooling/chaos engineering to mature teams DevSecOps mindset and practices.
• Experience with test automation frameworks (UI visual regression, BDD/TDD/FDD etc)
• Any experience with inner sourcing and reuse principles/culture, patterns and frameworks is highly desired
• Working knowledge of the Financial Services Industry, in particulate investment management, advice and superannuation
• Capability to question the status quo, challenge yourself and others to think out of the box on the value that will be delivered to our clients and advisers.
• Working to succeed as one team by providing technical mentoring and guidance, driving best of breed engineering practices relevant to the work, and uplifting technical ways of working.
• Lead issue resolution, identifying root cause and implementing solutions.
• Required Skills:
• 5-8 years of experience with AWS Cloud Platform and DevOps Enginnering
• Strong experience with developing infrastructure as code build and deployment pipelines
• Hands on Experience with IaaS Terraform
• Previous work experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies practices
• Previous experience designing and developing a multitude application using almost all of the main services of the AWS stack (e.g. EC2, ECS, EKS, s3, RDS, VPC, IAM, ELB, Cloud Watch, Route 53, Lamba and CloudFormation
• Working knowledge of AWS, VPC subnets InternetGateway and Route Table
• Experience with Java Spring Boot, CI/CD pipeline tools would be advantageous
• Worked on deployment automation using Shell with more concentration of DevOps and CI/CD Jenkins

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• DevOps specialist supporting the client AWS Cloud environments
• Setup and automation of high availability clusters with AWS Autoscaling, Load Balancers and Route53 SSO in cloud
• Estimating AWS usage costs and identifying operational cost control mechanisms
• Monitoring via Splunk Cloudwatch Cloudtrail
