OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service. The Truck Driver will operate various types of vehicles, ensuring timely delivery of freight while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required.
  • Experience with commercial driving is essential; experience with heavy equipment operation is a plus.
  • Familiarity with freight handling procedures and regulations.
  • Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Previous experience in automotive repair is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate commercial trucks to transport freight across designated routes.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel use, and any incidents.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations related to transportation and safety.
  • Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle readiness.
