JOB DESCRIPTION

As part of the Operations & Maintenance team, you will be responsible for analysing an organization’s processes and systems, assessing its business model, and ensuring its integration with technology.
You will assess the current state, identify customer requirements, and define future state business solutions.
Your role will also involve researching, gathering, and synthesizing information to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse and design organizational processes and systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and technology.
• Evaluate the existing business model, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define the future state of business processes and technology integration, aligning with customer requirements.
• Conduct thorough research, gather relevant data, and synthesize information to inform decision-making and process design.
• Prepare comprehensive monthly reports and perform regular maintenance on Windows and Linux server components.
• Security Scans & Remediation:

Conduct monthly Indicator of Compromise (IoC) scans and vulnerability assessments, followed by remediation efforts on identified vulnerabilities in servers. Manage Internet Hygiene Portal (IHP) remediation for Insight and VDI sites.

• Monitoring & Alerts:

Conduct daily performance monitoring, analysis, and cloud resource optimization across Azure Sentinel, Citrix VDI, and Commvault backup systems. Investigate alerts using Kusto Query Language (KQL) logs within Azure Monitor Log Analytics workspace to ensure thorough resolution.

• Deploy the Insight application, including components like Genie agents, App Service UI, App Service API, and App Migrator.
• VDI User Onboarding: Facilitate smooth operations by onboarding VDI user accounts and mapping their personal and shared drives.
• Citrix Components & Palo Alto Upgrade: Perform patches on Citrix components and upgrade PAN OS versions to fix security vulnerabilities in Palo Alto firewalls.
• Renew internal and external SSL/RDP certificates to maintain secure communication channels.
• Onboard new Power BI users, manage permissions for reports, and utilize tools to handle report permissions and Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Update and create standard operating procedures (SOPs) and audit documents to ensure compliance and streamline processes.
