POSITION OVERVIEW:

As an Azure Cloud Engineer at The IMA Group, you will play a key role in designing and implementing integrations with third-party systems, working within Microsoft Azure to create and maintain high-quality Platform as a Service (PaaS) components. You’ll collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to construct CI/CD pipelines, monitor and maintain systems, and enforce best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Expertise in Azure PaaS components like Azure Functions, Azure DevOPS, SQLaaS, Cosmos DB, Azure Service Fabric, and Azure Data Factory.
• Experience implementing scalable solutions with a focus on cost and consumption.
• Strong knowledge of service-oriented and microservice architecture in the cloud.
• Proficiency in CI/CD best practices and experience with CI/CD pipelines in Microsoft Azure/Microsoft DevOPS.
• Azure certifications are a plus.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2-3 years of experience with Azure Cloud Technology and PaaS components.
• Knowledge of C#, Python, and/or MS SQL is a plus.

• Translate business goals into technical solutions using Azure PaaS structures.
• Design and build reusable frameworks and scaffolding for common problems, such as integrations and data movement between systems.
• Develop solutions with minimal maintenance requirements and establish maintenance plans.
• Research, build proofs of concept, and introduce new technologies to the team.
• Support engineers in architecture, design, development, testing, and operations.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) and advisor to IT and business teams.
• Mentor junior team members as needed.
