We are currently seeking a Azure Cloud Operations Engineer to join our team in Canada .

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3-5 years of Hands on experience on Azure Services & Kubernetes/Openshift (Administration, configuration, and troubleshooting)
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Systems Engineering, or a related field. Higher degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Proven expertise in Azure Cloud - experience with AWS, GCP an asset.
  • Experience in Design and Implementation:
  • Designing and deploying scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain proactive monitoring for Azure services, identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks and potential issues.
  • Respond to and troubleshoot incidents, ensuring timely resolution of Azure-related problems. Use automation and DevOps practices to handle and mitigate them.
  • Implement automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
  • Maintain and operate Kubernetes Clusters (AKS)
  • Ensure platforms remain highly resilient to meet availability expectations as per the application design including the oversight of disaster recovery testing.
  • Collaborate with the Cloud Arch. team to implement and enhance Azure security measures.
  • Participate in the change management process to help manage change across the environment.
  • Assist with the patching, capacity planning, and administration of services alongside Operations.
  • Manage and coordinate vendors activities to ensure the successful support of platforms.
  • Collaborate with the security team to conduct regular security assessments/Audits and implement security best practices.
  • Implement Cost optimization strategies, budgets and other measure to contain costs.
