We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Solution Architect, capable of designing robust cloud architectures aligned with business objectives while ensuring compliance, security, and cost optimization.
Responsibilities:
YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and architect comprehensive and scalable cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, meeting the technical and business requirements of clients.
- Define best practices for migrating to Azure and guide clients through the transition from on-premise infrastructures to the cloud.
- Collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, and security teams to design optimized solutions that comply with security standards.
- Create secure, high-performance architecture models aligned with high availability and fault tolerance needs.
- Advise clients on cloud cost optimization by identifying the best options for resource allocation.
- Ensure the security, governance, and compliance of architectures by implementing secure Azure solutions (Azure AD, Key Vault, Security Center).
- Monitor performance and ensure the resilience of production infrastructures using monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
- Contribute to the development of cloud roadmaps and actively participate in technology watch to integrate the latest Azure innovations.
- Support internal teams and clients in adopting Azure technologies by acting as a technical mentor and facilitating continuous training.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 4 years in Azure environments.
- Strong experience in architecting cloud solutions for large-scale environments, covering Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure AD, and others.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates) for managing and automating cloud infrastructure deployments.
- Solid cloud networking skills (VNet, VPN Gateway, Azure Firewall, Load Balancers) and cloud security expertise.
- Hands-on experience migrating existing systems to Azure (lift and shift, refactoring).
- Ability to create complex architectures while considering cost optimization and risk management.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bilingual (French and English), with advanced writing and presentation skills.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role involving interactions with both national and international clients
Additional Assets:
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
- Good understanding of hybrid environments and connectivity between on-premise and cloud systems.
- Experience with advanced cloud security practices.
