Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an Azure Data Engineer to help enhance the organisation’s enterprise Azure data cloud infrastructure. This role focuses on creating a system with integrity while maximising agility, scalability, and operational efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant Azure Data certifications.
EXPERIENCE:
- Practical experience managing cloud data platforms.
- Hands-on expertise in deploying Azure data technologies.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS:
This role is based in Sydney CBD. Applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain a baseline security clearance.
Responsibilities:
- Implement the enterprise data roadmap using cloud-first principles.
- Optimise the performance of the cloud data and analytics platform.
- Manage Azure servers and data warehouses to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor system performance and resolve issues promptly.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data operations processes.
