About our Team

Our focus is on developing new products using Java and cloud technologies. We have a lot of independence in our decision-making and work closely with other teams at LexisNexis Risk Solutions.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will possess extensive DevOps experience and will join our UK&I Technology team. You will be responsible for developing tools and microservices that propel our products forward and working with cross functional teams. A big part of the role will be migrating from On Prem Data center and AWS Cloud platform to Azure.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring we write well-tested, documented, and peer-reviewed code by encouraging best practices and applying software engineering principles
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated build, test, and deployment pipelines, as well as implementing security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional technical teams to deliver successful, high-profile, business-critical projects in a fast-moving, product-centric environment
  • Developing infrastructure automation scripts using tools like Terraform/Terragrunt.

Requirements

  • Experience with Azure cloud technologies. Experience with modern dev practices and supporting technologies such as CI/CD, BDD, Terraform and GitHub/GitLab
  • Be able to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams in technical discussions.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in relevant technical skills and tools required for the role.
  • Have knowledge of Java/Spring boot
  • Be familiar with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
