WHO YOU ARE:

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure DevOps Engineer V with expertise in networking to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will manage and optimize our Azure Cloud environment, ensuring robust and secure network configurations. This role involves close collaboration with development, QA, operations, and networking teams to streamline the build, deployment, release, and network processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Architect and Implement Azure Solutions: Design, deploy, and maintain scalable Azure-based solutions to meet business and technical requirements, including virtual machines, storage accounts, networking, and security.
  • Manage Azure Network Configurations: Oversee the configuration and management of virtual networks, subnets, network security groups, and VPN gateways to ensure secure and efficient network operations.
  • Optimize and Automate: Develop infrastructure as code templates and automate the scaling of Azure resources to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with development teams to ensure optimal application performance in Azure. Communicate technical issues effectively to the development team and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor and Maintain: Continuously monitor the Azure environment, performing necessary maintenance, upgrades, and optimizations to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Develop and Implement Standards: Establish and uphold standards and best practices, including cyber controls, to ensure security and compliance.
  • Incident Reporting: Produce detailed and timely incident reports and root cause analysis documents.
  • Governance and Compliance: Develop and maintain Azure governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance and security.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and support to other IT support team members and stakeholders.
  • Stay Current: Keep up to date with the latest Azure technologies and industry trends to recommend best practices and identify areas for improvement.
