PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION

• Develop and maintain the Azure infrastructure assuring the security and reliability is always covered to the best standards.
• Have a pro-active attitude towards new developments, coming from either the business or internal IT.
• Exploring new services in Azure, defining the purpose of them, and proposing solutions of them.
• Being (co) responsible for BCP and DRP scenarios in Azure.
• Performing BAU tasks in Azure.
• Test and Implement Azure Policies.
• Manage RBAC on Azure.
• Work with Infrastructure as Code (IAC).
• Analyze and optimize Azure resources.
• Be able to work, document and follow-up tasks in Azure DevOps.

TASKS & RESPONSABILITIES

• In alignment with the Manager Infrastructure, IT Architect and IT Operations assure the required uptime, efficiency, and stability of the Azure infrastructure.
• Perform required planned maintenance on the Azure infrastructure resources when needed.
• Control the creation of new resources in a manual or automated process in alignment with the design and architecture.
• In alignment with IT Operations automate daily tasks to exclude the human factor error as much as possible.
• Assist to optimize the architecture of Azure to serve business, security, and performance.
• Assist to maintain the overall IT infrastructure to keep it at the correct standard defined.
• Being co-responsible for BCP and DRP scenarios in Azure and the readiness for the execution of them.
• Test and Implement Azure Policies.
• Be able to assess requests and assign RBAC roles on Azure.
• Be able to analyze Azure consumption and propose solution to decrease the costs.
• Work with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using Bicep/ARM to deploy azure resources.
• Document and follow-up tasks in Azure DevOps.
• Document and follow-up tasks (incidents/changes/etc.) in ServiceNow.
• Azure (VM, SQL, Application services, Storage account, Key Vault, Policies etc.)
