Location: Moro Warehouse (NO REMOTE).

REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in high levels of customer service in fast-paced and high energy environments.
• Proven experience contributing to a positive work environment with excellent team communication skills.
• Excellent written, verbal and email communication skills, with emphasis on positive problem-solving.
• Confident and decisive in determining solutions and problem-solving on behalf of customers and Azure.
• Excellent listening, verbal communication, and overall customer service skills.
• Skilled in time management and attention to details as well as flexibility in a constant changing environment.
• Communicate positively at all times with all team members, working toward common goals.

POSITION SUMMARY AND PURPOSE:

Azure Standard’s Logistics Specialist reports to the Director of Distribution and works closely to support the entire Logistics department. This position requires competency and accuracy with detail-oriented work, and dependable follow through with assigned tasks. This position is the primary communication between drivers, customers, and other relevant departments within Azure. Excellent customer service is a must. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm.

JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide after hours on call Logistics Support in rotation with other team members in order to meet 24/7 support coverage 1 week a month. This time can be traded with another team member as long as the Director of Distribution and team is aware.
• Communicate outbound logistics information to Azure drop point coordinators, customers, and drivers. This includes providing delivery schedules and overseeing customer communication when there are delays or route changes.
• Ensure that all designated route schedules, Logistics Communication channel via Zoom app and Azure’s Logistics app are up-to-date and accurate.
• Field incoming requests from Drivers to address needs as they arise on delivery routes. Provide drivers assistance and the information needed to successfully fulfill a route.
• Ensure that all route schedules are kept up to date and accurate.
• Collaborate with the logistics team regarding backhauls, LTL shipments, equipment scheduling, driver’s schedules, shuttle changes, and any other situations that require collaboration.
• Vetting new drops, drop location changes, wholesale drops completing assignments in our Google Docs.
• Field incoming customer service requests to be processed by the logistics team.
• Work with drivers to resolve equipment issues that arise.
• Support the Logistics team in all aspects of each team member’s specific duties as needed.
• All other duties as assigned by the Director of Distribution.
