We are seeking a driven and adventurous B2B Pro Video Sales & Business Development Manager to manage the business decelopment and annual sales performance of our Pro Video B2B market sector in Germany!
This position is perfect if you love to take on new challenges and look for opportunities to ensure the continuous growth of our business proposition. You will be reporting to the B2B & Pro Sector Lead.
We at the Consumer Sales & Marketing business unit are a dynamic B2B team within Sony looking after various vertical markets such as Education, Governmental and Pro Video. We are developing innovative high-quality products and solutions across the photo and video market for a wide array of customers - from rental companies to small and large production hourses, freelancers, schools, and universities.

Your skills and qualifications

  • Advanced understanding of videographic & photographic products
  • Proven track record in content creation or film industry
  • Technical video background in B2B sector desirable
  • Commercially driven and work experience in Sales
  • Proactive and with entrepreneurial mindset
  • Fluent in German and English (spoken & written)

Your tasks

  • You will expand and manage the customer portfolio of your respective B2B market sector (Pro Video). Develop business relationships with key stakeholders and relevant decision makers in the industry.
  • You are the Sector Specialist: you have an in-depth understanding of the market dynamics, the competition, product trends and the Sony share position in the Pro Video sector.
  • You explore leads and generate business potentials for Sony DI (digital imaging) video & photo products in your B2B sector. You build an annual sector sales development plan and establish requirements, remove commercial barriers, explore route to markets & sales partners and generate new product solutions relevant for the sector. You quantify short, mid & long-term sales potentials by model and value.
  • You will have close communication with local & pan European Product Marketing teams.
  • You are responsible for forecasting, planning and monitoring sales performance of your sector vs. monthly targets and generating periodic, internal business reports. Reporting and maintenance of all B2B “Leads” in your sector into Salesforce.com (SFDC) is a given.
  • You will support the B2B key account manager to generate B2B demand & sales leads with 2nd tier photo retail account partners within the relevant sector (i.e., technical product support, staff training or event management). You will be agreeing on commercial terms and pricing conditions for the Pro Video sector.
  • You will organize, support and execute relevant B2B customer events for your respective sector (i.e. workshops, Pro Conferences, live talks, seminars & B2B fairs). You will manage with-in allocated budget funds and track event performances vs. the given set of KPIs.
