JOB DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS

Looking for skilled Back-end Developers to join Truelancer and work on software application, database, and API development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high application scalability, security, and performance.

Roles and Responsibilities of Backend Developer:

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using programming languages such as Python, Java, or Ruby.
• Develop and maintain APIs and web services for our applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code with an emphasis on performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Develop and maintain databases using SQL and NoSQL technologies.
• Implement security and data protection measures to ensure the safety of our applications and user data.
• Ensure code quality by writing unit tests and conducting code reviews.

We’re looking in a candidate:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience working as a Back-End Developer.
• Strong proficiency in back-end web development technologies such as Python, Java, or Ruby.
• Expertise in developing and maintaining databases using SQL and NoSQL technologies.
• Experience in implementing security and data protection measures.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong knowledge of web application frameworks such as Spring, Django, or Laravel.
• Proficient in database administration, scripting, data migration, backup, and authorization.
• Proficiency in algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, and RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of security best practices and common vulnerabilities.
