Backend Developer (Django/Python)

We are looking for a person to join our team, which is working with a client in Iceland, on a system for managing the process of collecting deposits in the US real estate market.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Over 4 years of hands-on experience with Django in a professional setting (excluding university and personal projects)
• The approach of taking responsibility
• Strong foundation in engineering principles
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers and other engineers
• Proficient in Python 3
• Familiar with distributed version control tools, such as Git
• Proficiency in Polish and English (minimum B2 level)

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration technologies (such as Docker)
• Understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure)

• Writing clean, functional code, back-end
• Participating in the design and creation of scalable software
• Design and implementation of new data processing algorithms and pipelines
• Working in multidisciplinary teams to understand customer requirements and provide matching solutions
• Work with Django, in particular:
• Django 4.1
• Django Rest Framework
• PostgreSQL 14 database
• Open API Swagger
• Version control in Gitlab
• Designing SQL databases
