DESCRIPTION:

2infinity are working with a game-changing media tech client, to support their software development team expansion. Our client are looking for hungry individuals to join their quickly expanding team, working on their state-of-the-art iOS/Android app.
Our client is building & maintaining an awesome app, supporting audio & video content, which is available across all devices including Android, iOS, Web, Amazon, Alexa, Google…
You will be joining the team at an early stage, meaning you will play a pivotal role in engineering their first-of-its-kind app, having significant responsibility and influence over development of the app in the coming innovation period.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4-5+ Years backend application engineering experience.
• Expert user of NodeJS & AWS
• Strong experience working in SQL & Javascript
• Experience developing RESTful API’s
• CI/CD pipeline building experience and understanding of criticality when building efficient, maintainable app.
• Experience working with Elasticsearch, preferred.
• Experience/Knowledge of Personalisation, Machine Learning, Data Science beneficial.

• Develop high-performing RESTful API’s, which feed client’s consumer-facing apps & the internal CMS.
• Writing efficient SQL queries, performing other related database tasks such as migrations and table schema creation.
• Writing automated tests; Unit tests & Integration tests to maintain healthy CI/CD pipelines.
• Work on AWS cloud architecture and implement new services when needed.
• Coding using appropriate design patterns & architectural principles, that are clean, readable & scalable.
