QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands on development experience
• Proven experience as a Backend Engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Extensive experience with API development (RESTful and/or GraphQL).
• Expertise in MongoDB and database design principles.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Background in implementing security best practices.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs.
• Implement and manage MongoDB databases effectively.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize performance and ensure scalability of our backend systems.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
• Ensure security and data protection standards are maintained.
• Build and maintain a performant, reliable data pipeline to save cyberthreat metadata in a MongoDB and make it available via a versioned, authenticated internal API .
• The API will be used to fetch data to display to customers.
