Job Description

• Design and write code using Java and Scala
• Improve the Authentication and Authorization experience for Wix employees
• Increase developer productivity by improving internal frameworks
• Solve hard problems in a simple way using TDD and clean code
• Make an impact on how Wix applications use our Identity platform more efficiently from a development perspective
• Partner with infrastructure and security teams to find the best solutions
• Lead and deliver projects end to end

Qualifications
-

Extensive experience with server-side JVM technologies (Java, Scala, or other)

• Experience in software design, coding, and production
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• You understand and can write multithreaded code, specifically for a web server’s request lifecycle
• Some experience in Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Able to conduct performance analysis for a system and find its bottlenecks
• Experience speaking in developer meetups, conferences or writing about software engineering - an advantage
