We’re excited to announce that New World The Sands will be joining the community later this year! With a brand-new store and impressive offering across grocery, butchery, deli, bakery, produce and liquor, we can’t wait to open our doors to the Papamoa community!
With our opening date set for November 2024, we are seeking an experienced Baker to join the team. If you’re a passionate baker who loves experimenting with new recipes and creating mouth-watering treats – this is the role for you!

• Ensure high presentation standards for the bakery department & store.
• Prepare, bake, and produce bakery offerings as required – get creative and use your baking flair!
• Lead in bakery product refinement and bakery range expansion.
• Provide full range whilst maintaining quality.
• Maintain daily operations in collaboration with the Bakery & Deli Manager and 2IC.
• Ensure the H&S, Food Safety and store procedures are strictly followed.
