Description:

We are seeking professional and highly-motivated bakers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about quality breadmaking and pastry arts. The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure, multitask effectively, and work well with a group. The right candidate will also have experience baking, chocolate arts, cake decorating and confectionary.
You MUST be available to start work between 4 am-5am
- No culianry school experience required
- 2-3 years of kitchen experience, 1 year minimum
- Reliable, flexible, able to work under pressure. Sensible and attention to details. Must be able to lift up to 50lb. Must actively participate in cleaning, organizing and putting away orders. Looking for an honest individual who is able to work with a team as well as individually.
- Workplace will see frequent changes to orders, production and workflow. Must be flexible and easily adaptable to changes.

Responsibilities:

  • Prep food and baked goods for the day, organizing and labelling
  • Prepare artisan breads, pastries and cakes
  • Clean, organize and prepare in a kitchen setting
  • Be able to life 50lb +
  • Stocking, organizing, cleaning following the daily inventory tasks and cleaning tasks
  • Working with kitchen team by cleaning dishes, bussing, execute daily cleaning
  • Prepare sandwich items, salads, donuts, and sugar arts
  • Food Safety Level 1 is required
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to be standing/walking for long periods of time
  • Time management
  • Efficient and accurate scaling of the required ingredients

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • One (1) year of Experience in a bakery is preferable
  • Possession of Food Safe an asset
  • Must be able to work one (1) weekend workday, full weekend availability an asset
  • 25-40hrs/week
    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
    Pay: $18.00-$18.50 per hour
    Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
