Kessler Baking Studio is an awarding-winning scratch bakery located just north of the Bishop Arts District in Dallas, Texas. We’re currently hiring a bakery clerk/generalist to join our fun and passionate team. Kessler Baking Studio is a creative studio that produces cookies, blondies, brownies, cupcakes, shortbreads, breakfast pastries, breads and specialty cakes using the finest selected ingredients. As a black-owned micro-bakery, our owner is community and justice oriented, and consider our small team to be a family. We are located at 1129 North Beckley Avenue. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter that enjoys working with others and brings positive energy to our environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

*Providing outstanding in-person and phone service *Identifying new customers verses returning *Promote menu with items with descriptive narratives *Keeping FOH happy, clean, and organized *Restocking baked goods and staples *Preparation and/or assembly of menu items *Decorating cookies and cupcakes *Packaging and labeling of goods *Mix, wash, peel, chop, grind, scoop, strain, and slice *Contributes to team effort by accomplishing tasks effectively and quickly *Close attention to detail and consistency *Must adhere to sanitation, safety, and food regulations *Various cleaning tasks and side work

QUALIFICATIONS

*Food Handler Certification *Capable of multitasking *Able to lift 50 pounds *Ability to work as part of a team *1- 2 years of previous experience in bakery, restaurant, or café a plus, but not required

CURRENT POSITION STANDARDS/REQUIREMENTS

*Job Type: Part-time *Pay: $10 - $12 ($15 - $17 with tips) *Days: Monday - Sunday *Hours: 10AM - 6PM
