Description:

Are you a an administrator looking for the opportunity to be part of a new, innovative and developing model of care for people in North Somerset? If so, we would love to hear from you. We are currently redesigning our community mental health services to meet the needs of the population we serve and have developed a new care model involving Primary and Secondary care, the Local Authority and Voluntary sector services to assist with people accessing services in a holistic and more timely manner.
This new service in Woodspring, North Somerset are looking for an approachable, organised and efficient team player to provide comprehensive administration and secretarial support.

You will have empathy with/and or experience of working with people who have experienced mental health distress and you will need a degree of resilience as some of the work can include details of a distressing nature, though full support is given through peer support, regular formal supervision and access to the Employee Assist programme.

  • Prepare and present complex reports in a range of formats
  • Able to plan own workload to meet regular deadlines
  • Ability to be flexible and responsive

To manage both telephone and face to face contacts with distressed service users in a supportive and empathetic manner.
Exercise judgement when dealing with patient inquires, analyse and resolve non-clinical patient problems
Manage the organisation of key meetings
Type patient reports/correspondence/e-mails as required
Interpret and advise on data and office management functions
Prepare and present reports and a range of complex information in a range of format
