An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior ophthalmic technician to work in the ophthalmic department at Barnet hospital which is part of the Royal Free London ophthalmology service. We see patients with a number of ophthalmology conditions, including medical retina and glaucoma.
Working in a friendly environment you’ll carry out Ophthalmic technical and imaging procedures including OCT, Visual fields, visual acuity assessment and intraocular pressure checks. As a senior technician you will be responsible for supervising work of other technicians
Previous experience in Ophthalmology is essential
In addition to the ophthalmology department at Royal Free Hospital hospital, we also have ophthalmic clinics in other hospitals within the trust and you may be expected to work there if needed.
