Description:
The Royal Free London has a vacancy in our Digital Training Team, for a band 6 Digital System Developer.
The post holder, as a member of the Digital Training team, will support delivery of quality training, education and development of Digital training systems by creating digital training and educational material in a variety of on-line formats (primarily electronic patient records – Cerner / Oracle EPR) to all Trust staff. In addition, the post holder will be responsible for maintaining and up-dating our learning management system (LMS), reviewing and up-dating content in line with current training and workflow development.
To work alongside current Digital System Trainers in the onboarding and delivery of digital training for all trust staff; applying expert knowledge in further developing the digital training packages to improve end-user experience and training compliance.
To work with the Digital Training Lead, Chief Change Lead and Nursing Information Officers to implement local and national digital education and development strategies in a variety of digital training formats.
To support the education of the Trust digital systems, improving recruitment and the retention of Trust staff by improving training and therefore system knowledge and workflows..
To contribute to the development of a positive learning environment for all Trust staff using EPR and enable training accessibility by developing and maintaining a variety of on-line training content.
To maintain and develop the trust learning management system (LMS) enabling on-line learning for all staff in the use of EPR and other digital systems
To keep knowledge and learning up to date with best practice in EPR workflows for nursing, administrative and clinical care
To develop digital educational material in a variety of digital training applications (Example systems: Captivate, Articulate etc.) in accordance with trust standards/policies,statutory requirements and national guidelines
