Description:
This role sits in the small but impactful Employee Experience and Retention Team within the People Directorate.
The focus of the role is to ensure that managers and staff understand what tools and support are available to engage and retain staff and that they are used effectively. To this end, the role holder will manage a range of project s including, but not limited to: The annual NHS Staff Survey, quarterly People Pulse survey, AWP’s recognition project - including the annual staff awards; and contribute to the health and wellbeing offer.
The role holder will need to enjoy networking and relationship building across the organisation at all levels, and should be willing and able to travel to our sites to engage managers and staff.
Effective communication skills are essential. The role holder must be skilled at formal report writing and confident and engaging when presenting to large and small audiences, both in person and virtually.
We are a data led team and the role holder must be a skilled user of MS Excel, confident working with large data sets, able to effectively communicate information to others, and skilled at gathering and interpreting qualitative data.
Manage the annual cycle of the NHS Staff Survey and the quarterly People Pulse surveys.
Manage the AWP recognition project, including the end to end process of delivering the annual Staff Awards, bi-annual Celebrations of AWP Long Service and the annual Celebration of Learning.
Manage the AWP Appraisal project.
Manage AWP’s financial wellbeing offer and associated staff intranet pages.
Contribute to other retention projects including staff health and wellbeing.
