Description:
The Wiltshire Talking Therapies Service is looking for enthusiastic and motivated qualified High Intensity CBT Therapists to join our dynamic and expanding service to help manage the increasing demand for Step 3 CBT.
This post has a focus on supervision, therefore we are looking for applicants who have successfully completed their supervision training, or who are eligible for supervision training. This training is for qualified, BABCP accredited CBT Practitioners and who have a minimum of 2 years’ post-CBT qualification experience.
Successful applicants who are eligible for supervision training will be put forward for training in February 2025 as part of this role.
We are currently operating a hybrid working arrangement, where you will be based at either Green Lane Hospital, Devizes or Fountain Way Hospital, Salisbury combined with opportunities for remote working from home.
The Talking Therapies Team recently won the AWP “Team of the Year” award where it was recognised for outstanding service improvements.
You will provide a qualified specialist psychological therapy service for anxiety and depression to clients from the NHS Talking Therapies service. This involves providing specialist psychological assessment and therapy, using the therapy model specified by the NHS Talking Therapies for anxiety and depression Manual.
You will also provide professional and clinical supervision to other members of the team.
You will be joining the service at an exciting time with expansion across all areas which will open up excellent development opportunities.
You will receive regular supervision and an extensive programme of CPD opportunities to ensure your continued learning and development.
We are a friendly and supportive team with a strong focus on staff wellbeing. We often run fun team activities and offer the opportunity for staff to get involved in specialist areas of interest as a “champion”. Current topics covered include support for younger people, equality, diversity & inclusion, service user involvement, wellbeing, veterans and several others.
We are AWP (Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust) a diverse organisation with over 5,000 dedicated staff providing inpatient and community-based mental health care.
We provide services from a range of locations to approximately 1.8 million people living in Bath and North East Somerset (B&NES), Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Swindon, across the county of Wiltshire and in parts of Dorset.
Our outstanding people promote mental health and wellbeing. The expertise and resources within AWP are dedicated to a person-centred approach for those who use our services and for all employees. We recognise that happy and fulfilled employees give better care.
At AWP we actively encourage applicants from all backgrounds; we are particularly keen to encourage applications from people from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds, those with disabilities and from the LGBTQ+ community. We want people to bring their unique blend of experiences, backgrounds, perspectives and knowledge to AWP, as diversity makes us stronger.
