Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse who is experienced in looking after and supporting patients receiving immunotherapy treatment for cancer to provide maternity cover for 12 months.
We have an established but rapidly growing service we provide to patients receiving immunotherapy regimens for all cancers, at the Royal Free Hospital sites, which includes an immunotherapy toxicity MDT, on treatment and toxicity clinics. The post holder would work with the lead consultant, sometimes with external parties to further the late effects service, contribute to the planning of network education events and work collaboratively with the acute oncology team to establish and improve ambulatory pathways
The post holder will be required to work with clinical, operational, information and administrative staff across all levels of seniority within the acute Trust.

The Lead Nurse for Cancer Immunotherapy will support and develop the rapidly growing service we provide to patients receiving immunotherapy regimens for all cancers, at the Royal Free Hospital sites, which will include provision of nurse led immunotherapy and associated toxicity clinics. The post will incorporate the dimensions of expert clinical practice, education, leadership, management and research.
