Description:
We are looking to recruit a bank administrator for the Crisis Resolution Team for AAW. The working hours for the post are 9-5pm Mon - Fri.
This is a busy role with a varied workload and therefore you will need to be able to work independently and be enthusiastic, flexible and creative in your approach.
The role includes a lot of telephone communication and processing of referrals. You will provide support to a broad multi-disciplinary team, dealing with queries from clients, Doctors, other agencies and members of the public as well as the competing demands of our clinical team.
You will update and collate information to keep our patient information current and compliant.
You will be a dedicated resilient team player with the ability to work well under pressure whilst displaying excellent organisational, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
Dealing sensitively with people, both on the telephone and in person, taking accurate messages and relaying them to the appropriate people and/or taking follow up action as required using appropriate initiative.
Providing admin support to the Liaison Suite.
To be able to work unsupervised and prioritise workload on a day to day basis, liaising with other team members to ensure continuity of service at all times
Undertake any other duties necessary in the interests of the service and to raise concerns where necessary which may affect efficient provision of service.
You will be joining a team of supportive colleagues who are committed to delivering an effective administration service, in order to support the care that our clinical teams provide to service users.
We provide mental health and learning disability care for children, young people and adults across Sussex and for children and young people in Hampshire.

Tasks will include: taking phone calls from service users, their families and professionals, minute taking, typing of clinical letters and helping to maintain and input data for a number of audits and systems needed for the smooth running of the service. You may be the first point of contact for people experiencing emotional distress. Further training in how to understand mental health difficulties can be provided to support you in your role.
You will be someone who’s strengths include; planning and organisational skills, excellent time management and someone who is adaptive and able to respond to the challenges of change and development of an exciting service. A working knowledge of Word and Excel will be essential. Further training can be given for this and other NHS systems if required.
There may be times when you will be required to provide admin support to other teams in Sussex and attend meetings in other locations. (In line with Trust policy expenses will be given to cover travel costs)
