Bank Health Care Assistant – Radiology - Springfield Hospital – Chelmsford | Bank Hours
The role
The Radiology Health Care Assistants will work closely with the Consultant Radiologists and will support the Ultrasound service by providing excellent patient care. As a HCA you will be responsible for assisting the Radiologists with examinations and support in the planning and booking ultrasound lists.

What you will do:

  • Set up clinics and work with Consultant Radiologists during Ultrasound clinics
  • Assist with minor procedures e.g US guided injections, biopsies
  • Face to face and telephone communication with Sepatients and Consultants.
  • Administrative duties including finishing each examination properly and appointing patients for Ultrasound clinics.

Skills Requirement:

  • RGN level 1 registration
  • Experience working in an OPD or Pre Assessment setting working independently and as part of a team
  • Good Communication / interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility
  • Approachable / Supportive and Professional

Springfield Hospital opened in 1987 and is one of Essex’s leading private hospitals. It is a 64 bedded unit consisting of fifty-eight private bedrooms three of which are two bedded parent and child rooms and a high observation unit with three beds.
We are looking to recruit a Bank Health Care Assistant to join our Radiology team at Springfield Hospital in Chelmsford. Our Radiology team plays a vital role in providing excellent patient outcomes, and we reward them with an interesting and varied role.
