Description:
We are seeking motivated, compassionate Healthcare Support Workers to join our Bank. You will work alongside our current workforce who are committed and passionate about caring for our patients.
Working on the Bank will allow you to work across a variety of settings/wards/departments as part of a multi-disciplinary team, whilst maintaining flexibility to support work life balance.
If you are compassionate about the care you provide, then we would like to hear from you. We are looking for someone with a good standard of education, including numeracy and literacy skills. You will be required to complete induction training and a competency framework workbook to demonstrate the ability to undertake the duties of the role.

The bank worker will assist in the provision of care to patients/clients by providing a range of personal care duties as designated by a Qualified Nurse.
These tasks will involve direct and indirect care for the benefit of the patient/client in accordance with agreed protocols, and include basic care duties such as :
Enabling patients to maintain personal hygiene through assistance with shower/ bath, washing facilities access and use of toilet facilities; promoting independence where possible.
Enabling patients to eat and drink, assisting where appropriate.
Escorting patients/clients to other departments/hospitals.
Keeping up to date with mandatory training requirements.
Maintaining a good standard of cleanliness in the ward, including changing bed linen and disposing of clinical waste in accordance with organisational policies.
