Description:
We are looking for a Patient Access Officer to join our team at the Harborne Hospital on a bank basis, part of the World’s largest private healthcare group; providing award winning primary, acute and complex care.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting is advantageous as we are looking for someone who demonstrates kindness and compassion and upmost confidentiality
- The post holder must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in an efficient and methodical way

Responsibilities:
- To provide a comprehensive range of administrative services to patients, consultants and other third parties in a high volume and pressurised environment
- Work closely with clinical staff, revenue cycle teams and third-party sponsors to ensure timely and accurate patient registration and billing
- Facilitate the customer’s experience by providing a 5* service to our internal and external stakeholders through a seamless patient journey with a high level of customer care at all times whilst handling a high volume of activity.
- Be proactive in the day to day management of patient appointments and admissions to facilitate operational excellence.
