Description:

Role: BANK Radiology Department Assistant
Location: The Wellington Hospital, London
Hours: Part-time (Monday to Friday), we are looking for candidates who are available for a minimum of 2-3 days per week
Shift Times: Between 8am - 6pm
Contract Type: Bank
Pay: Bank hourly rate between £15.32ph – £18.91ph dependent upon shift & role type
Rates inclusive of WTR include indicative additional amount separately payable on claiming accrued annual leave. WTR is calculated on the average hourly pay rate over the preceding 52 weeks and may therefore differ from the amount included in the above WTR rates
We’re looking for Bank Radiology Department Assistants (RDA) to join our team at The Wellington Hospital, currently rated “Good” by the CQC.

We have reached an exciting stage in our recruitment journey where we are now looking for Radiology Department Assistants to join our Bank. As a Bank RDA, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Help radiographers, nurses, admin staff and doctors as required. assist patients and clinical procedures, ensuring and maintaining the smooth running of the department.
  • Help radiographers, nurses, admin staff and doctors as required.
  • You will also be involved in providing a administrative service to support the department, ensuring quality services are provided to the patients and Consultants.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING…

You will need to be available for 2-3 shifts per week between Monday to Friday, the department shift times are between 8am - 6pm.

  • Good spoken and written English
  • Good verbal and non verbal communication skills.
  • Computer literate
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • You will be able to resolve queries in a timely manner and seeking assistance as required
  • Customer care skills and ability to prioritise workload
