Mō te tūranga - About the role
As a Banking Consultant in our Matamata branch, your role is to provide exceptional customer experience meeting the needs of customers across the Retail product set across transaction activities, needs-based conversations and educating them on digital solutions, excluding Home Lending. The outcomes are to be achieved through living the ANZ Values and being highly competent retail retail bankers, with outputs delivered against being well managed, customer outcomes and financial outcomes for ANZ.

Work Schedule: Tuesday to Thursday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Responsibilities:

Deliver positive customer outcomes and high satisfaction at all stages of dealing with ANZ from welcoming customers, to identifying and fulfilling customer needs.
Utilise @ ANZ frameworks to explore & understand financial needs of current & potential customers, and where appropriate meet needs to provide the best possible outcome for the customer or refer to another Business.
Educate the customer on the benefits of and demonstrate easy ways to bank to enable the customer to utilise banking services in the way that best meets their needs.
Support and actively assist other team members with the workload of the branch and share success and ideas within the team. Perform all duties effectively through maintaining an in depth and up to date knowledge of Bank processes, relevant products, and services in order to effectively and confidently identify and meet customer needs.

Exceptional customer focus - retail experience is an advantage,
Experience in being a user and promoter of technology - working knowledge in using different digital channels is an advantage,

Sound understanding of compliance, and
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
