Description:

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • University degree in accounting related field or equivalent
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience in Finance & Accounting in a multinational corporation
  • Knowledge of English at an advanced level (second language is a plus)
  • Good understanding of SAP functionality and swift connectivity standards
  • Strong knowledge of End Market business
  • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and use of judgment
  • Ability to establish and leverage trusted relationship with business stakeholders

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE STATEMENT:

The Banking Operations SME&Quality Assistant Manager will provide Global Support to all Banking Operation Team in solving any technical issues, ensuring robust processing of global payments, drive the automation and standardization agenda and global process standardization

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Drive and implement the Banking Operation improvement and simplification agenda thru system automation solutions
  • Global process standardization by organizing and leading regular Banking Operation workshops
  • Act as single point of contact for all DBS Centers for all standard/manual/emergency payments improvement initiatives from a system or process perspective
  • Contribute to the Banking Operations Touchless payments agenda by overseeing automation/simplification initiatives (e.g: Payment Warehousing, Auto Scheduled Payment runs, SAP workflows)
  • Strong collaboration with the GPE’s, external banks, technical teams’ stakeholders and ensuring that all internal/external issues are being handled with no impact on the payments process
  • Act as escalation point for any technical issues, raise the required incidents and follow-up with the respective teams to ensure the solution is implemented in a timely manner.
  • Drive all UAT required during business release, ad-hoc requests, new entities creation or system enhancements.
  • Leverage technology and systems in delivering manual/emergency and failed payments reduction.
  • Share best practices, oversee, and implement solutions that would increase the level of automation in the overall payments process
  • React fast and with the appropriate level of seniority in addressing any external changes that would impact the payments process (central bank requirements, international new standards, etc)
  • Drive standardization and productivity improvement initiatives for all GBS Centers
  • All technical issues being addressed in a timely manner and ensuring no business disruption
  • Perform payments analysis with the scope of identifying operating cashflow uplift opportunities within Accounts Payable space
  • Ability to perform gap analysis and develop process improvement plans (LSS Methodology)
  • Positive feedback from all relevant stakeholders and End Market contacts.
