BANKING SECRETARY

Our client, a reputable law firm, is seeking a detail-oriented and professional Banking Secretary to join their team in Pretoria East, Gauteng. The ideal candidate should possess strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a minimum of 7 years’ experience with liquidations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Essential: Matric.
• Relevant qualification in Paralegal studies would be highly beneficial.
• Essential: Minimum of 7 years of experience with liquidations.

• Composing letters, Section 129 notices, demand letters, Section 345 notices, and Section 69 notices.
• Preparing Combined Summons, Particulars of Claim, and Notices of Opposition to Mediation, as well as applications for case numbers.
• Writing Default Judgment Applications, Compliance Statements, Date Applications, and Notices of Set Down.
• Creating Writs of Execution against movable assets, banks, and specific bank accounts.
• Preparing Subpoenas directed at banks.
• Drafting Declarations.
• Writing Powers of Attorney (POA), Settlement Agreements, and Acknowledgements of Debt.
• Producing Sale in Execution documents, including notices and conditions, and organising publications in local newspapers and the Government Gazette.
• Composing instruction letters for sheriffs, correspondent attorneys, tracers, and couriers for required services.
