Job Type: Part-time - 16 Hours (5 out of 7 days)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Banny’s Drive Thru’, Burnley, is looking for an energetic, friendly, and highly organised individual to join our busy team. As a crucial part of our service staff, you’ll be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they have an outstanding dining experience from the moment they walk in. This is an extremely busy role where there’s no room for standing around—you’ll need to stay active and think on your feet.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and manage seating arrangements efficiently
• Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
• Serve meals and beverages while maintaining a high standard of customer service
• Assist in preparing the dining area for service, including setting tables and tidying up
• Handle cash and card transactions at the till
• Respond to customer queries and resolve any issues professionally
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely service
• Assist the fryers with kitchen duties as required (must be aged 18+)
• Ensure the restaurant’s cleanliness, both front and back of house

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment is a plus
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
• A positive, team-oriented attitude
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations
