Our Banquet/Event sales managers market, sell and coordinate event space for Classic Events Banquets and Events- one of WNY’S most prestigious banquet companies.. Handling customer inquiries and assisting in the point-of-contact for all event details. Banquet/Event sales managers oversee the ccoordination of all event information and resources, and are responsible for account management, sales prospecting and business development for their property
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- High-energy and creative
- Possess excellent customer service and sales skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Past experience in the hospitality sales department
- Access to reliable transportation required
- Must have a flexible schedule
- Outgoing and friendly attitude
- Ability to work under pressure
- Supervisory experience required

Responsibilities:
Key activities performed by our banquet/event sales managers include account management, business development, market research, sales prospecting, public relations, customer relationship management, event planning and coordination, logistics oversight, revenue management, and communications. They also prepare proposals for clients and maintain well-organized event records. Banquet/Banquet/Event sales managers build and maintain working relationships with internal and external partners, and leverage these relationships to deliver innovative and memorable events.
