Job Description
- Embrace Fairmont philosophy, standards of servıce and operatıng procedures.
- To have complete knowledge of all menu items and services provided.
- To be aware of and applies the procedures concerning hotel fire and life safety/ emergency procedures.
- Possess excellent knowledge of the menus as well as the preparations and presentations.
- Handle minor complaints and reports them to the Manager or Assistant for proper action
- Checks staff punctuality, grooming and performance
- Maintain consistency in quality of food, beverage and service.
- To enforce check control procedures for every bill presented to the guest
- Ensures that staff applies the necessary precautions with regards to the hotel food safety and hygiene standards
- Checks set up /mise-en-place prior to start of operations
- Ensures co-operation and smooth communication between staff and other departments
- To ensure the smooth and efficient operation
- To liaise with kitchen crew on daily operation.
- To keep all breakage to a minimum and keep exact reports on it
- To update the logbook daily
- To submit guest/staff incident reports when required
- To attend F&B briefing/meeting during the absence of the Assistant Manager
- Assist in any other tasks as specified by superior
- Joining the monthly variance and reporting cost.
- Following up stock situation and making necessary transfers.
- Provide amenity numbers daily from the system.
- Taking care of wastage beverages and making their documentation properly.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned by management team
- To supervise and oversee the operation and administrative of the outlet
- To assign responsibilities to subordinates.
- To supervise, oversee and assist subordinates during busy meal period.
- To ensure that all staff report for duty on time, wearing complete uniform.
- To assist in the building of an efficient team of employees by taking an active interest in their welfare, safety and development.

QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree in Food & Beverage or Hospitality Management
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position
- Motivator and self-starter
- Displays initiative
- Commitment to professional values
- Team leader / builder
- Neat appearance
- Physically fit
- Good Posture
